I can't wait for this weekend!!!  The 3rd Annual NW Vintage Wedding Fair has grown by leaps and bounds.  We are more than excited to showcase our hand-picked, vintage-infused vendors and provide our nostalgia-loving brides and grooms some amazing ideas and inspiration for their weddings.

This year's fair will be held Saturday, March 31st at Greenwood Square, a fabulous vintage venue on the corner of 85th & Greenwood in Seattle, from 1-6 PM.  VIP early admission is available this year! VIP's get in at noon instead of 1 PM and receive the royal treatment with champagne, appetizers, goodie bags and first look at what the fair has to offer. 

You can enter to win two VIP tickets to the fair over at the NW Vintage Wedding Fair blog!  The winner will be announced on Friday, so be sure to get on over and enter right now!

NW Vintage Wedding Fair Call to Vendors

 I'm so excited for this event.  The Northwest Vintage Wedding Fair is celebrating it's successful 3rd year this year, and is currently seeking vintage vendors and vintage-infused makers, sellers and services to participate on March 31, 2012 from 12-6.  See the website for info on how to apply!

I was thrilled to be asked to contribute this year as one of the event organizers and help to grow this unique event to it's potential!  Last year I was one of twelve vendors at the event held in Seattle.  The fair drew in an unanticipated number of people, so many in fact, that the event was expanded this year to accommodate 20-30 vendors, a cash and carry vintage market (with amazing vintage wedding goodies!) and more guests than ever.  This year the fair will be held at Greenwood Square and we welcome you to come and see the best of what the Northwest has to offer for vintage-loving brides and grooms.  Come early and enjoy a VIP reception complete with goodie bags, champagne and appetizers!  If you're like me, when it comes to vintage, I want to be there first to get my hands on all the goods!!!

Seattle Vintage Wedding Fair, Deeds & Petunia and the magazine on NWSource.com

Got a nice little surprise again this morning - a lovely article on NWSource.com on the upcoming Seattle Vintage Wedding Fair.  You definitely don't want to miss this event, and the article tells you exactly why you want to be there!

All participating vendors are local, and the Vintage Wedding Fair has an intimate, indie vibe with an emphasis on affordability. The event attracts local brides who want to infuse their wedding with nostalgia, Old Hollywood glamour and unique, personal style.

The vendors, including Deeds & Petunia, had some very nice words said about them/us/me.

The small and carefully selected vendor list has some exciting new additions this year, including Seattle designer Amanda Vernell of Twice Blushed reconstructed bridal gowns, Christopher Jones of Like A Rockstar clothing, and Deeds and Petunia, which makes affordable, picture-perfect birdcage veils and fascinators. 

And the zine as well!  Probably the most exciting part for me.

Deeds and Petunia will launch a new online bridal magazine at the event, called “All in the Details” -- which happens to be the wedding fair’s theme.

 Can't wait for this weekend.  I'm starting to feel the pressure now.  This week is the big push for me!

Seattle Vintage Wedding Fair

Artisan Sale in University Place, WA

At the Vintage Wedding Fair, I will have samples of all my custom made-to-order bridal fascinators, veils, corsages and boutonnieres (you can place an order right then and there and they will take 3-4 weeks to deliver right to your door), some ready made veils and fascinators for sale to take home that day, as well as my new Do It Yourself Birdcage Veil kits in ivory and white!  There will be an amazing selection of local wedding vendors, complimentary champagne, and the first 25 guests receive goodie bags - all for just five bucks!

The Artisan Sale is a free event hosted at Brassfield's Salon, and will feature some of my more casual designs - flower and feather fascinators and pins with vintage button and jewelry details, headbands and new DIY fascinator kits.  There are loads of talented local artists and crafters selling all kinds of goodies, so don't miss it.  Come say hi to Bailey, my cutest ever (and first ever!) Deeds & Petunia representitive!

 Truth be told, I'm not REALLY on vacation (I wish) but instead finishing up last minute details for new shop listings and cranking out tons of pieces that will be for sale at TWO very exciting upcoming events!  So, you can still get in touch with me if you need to, I will still fill your order as promised if you placed one in the last month and it hasn't shipped yet, but I need a break from the wonderful flow of sales I've been getting to play catch up!  I'm only one woman, after all.  ;)

Events!  Both are on the same day, May 14th!  How am I going to be in two places at once you ask?  Well, I'm not.  I'll be at the one in Seattle, the Vintage Wedding Fair, and will have a representative at the other, the Artisan Sale at Brassfield's Salon in University Place, WA.  Most of the wedding goodies will be at the Vintage Wedding Fair from 12-5 PM, and I will have some sweet little pieces for sale just in time for Mother's Day, Prom, Summer, etc. at the Artisan Sale.

Call To Artists - 2nd Annual Seattle Vintage Wedding Fair!

Join us for the 2nd Annual Seattle Vintage Wedding Fair!  We are excited to host what will no doubt be a simply smashing event on Saturday, May 14th, 11AM-6PM, at Ghost Gallery on Capitol Hill!

The theme of this year's Fair is "All in the Details!" There will be vintage-inspired vendors showcasing their hair accessories, jewelry, dresses, flowers, paper goods, hair and make-up artists, favors, sweet treats and more. All to help you complete your wonderful Vintage-style Wedding!

There will be products available for purchase, as well as opportunities to book photography sessions, hair and make-up appointments and more.

Rosemary will also be doing a photo shoot that day where brides, grooms, and bridal parties-to-be can have their picture taken!
